WARTORN formed in May 2003. This Houston based band is a hybred product of today's modern metal sound, and technical overtones of the long standing Metal juggernaut. It's three members exploit diversity and precission combining their extensive musical backgrounds to form powerful compositions such as "FORSAKEN" and "CONQUER" which premier on their self titled upcoming debute, "WARTORN"
The CD was recorded at the Plant Studios in Sausalito, CA. It was engineered by 1st engineer Kent Matcke, (Savage Garden, Metallica, etc.) co-produced by 2nd engineer Eric Frison, and mixed and mastered by Logan Mader (Machinehead, Soulfly, etc.) in Los Angeles.
Wartorn is managed by "Hollowpoint management" led by veteran Shawn Barusch. Songs from the self titled debut are expected to air on raidio stations in the U.K. early to mid June.
