Watch Man Walk has been writing and performing together for over six years. The band started as a three piece group in high school, releasing the first self-produced album as The Dorian Mode.
Over the next four years, the core of guitar, bass, drums and vocals grew into a six piece ensemble known as Cascade in Blue. With the addition of violin, upright bass, horns, piano, keyboards and percussion, the music expanded into new terrains of composition and performance.
While self-producing three EP's and two full length albums the band also toured as far as the mid-west United States, stretching it's sound away from the east-coast for the first time.
Now, with seven official members pushing in different directions of music education and experimentation, Watch Man Walk has revised itself again. The eighth independent album will be completed in 2008, and they will bring their music to the West Coast of the United States in the Summer of 2008.
