Waterloo Revival has burst onto the country music scene, combining Texas red-dirt and Nashville country influences.
Based in Austin, Texas, Waterloo’s rapid success is a testament to its strong songwriting and raucous live shows. The band released their first EP "Little Lighting" in March 2013, followed by the single "Texas Rodeo," both produced by platinum recording artist Matt Noveskey of Blue October.
The band is led by native Austinites George Birge (Lead Vocals and Guitar) and Cody Cooper (Rhythm Guitar) who have been playing and co-writing together since their high school days. Jason Klann (Bass) holds down the rhythm section that launches killer lead guitar and pedal steel driven melodies. Citing influences from modern day country music chart-toppers such as Eli Young, Randy Rogers, Brantley Gilbert, and Pat Green, Waterloo Revival evokes authentic country-rock intertwining their Texas roots with Nashville twang.
