Creating music that is ‘uniquely Waterpark’, these talented musicians bring a fresh sound to the Brisbane music scene and are loving every minute of it. Waterpark’s creative song writing combines unique melodies with lyrics inspired by personal and combined experience, taking you on a journey of genres that will keep you wondering where their music might lead you next. The band’s musical influences include The Beatles, Muse, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Tea Party, Incubus and Led Zeppelin. This combination of artists is a reflection of the diverse sounds Waterpark take inspiration from. Waterpark was formed by childhood friends, Mat Daley (drums/vocals), Mike Edwards (bass/vocals), Nick Van Dyke (vocals / guitar), and Ross Edwards (guitar/vocals) and will continue to build their fan base performing gigs around SE QLD. They are about to bunker down in the studio with Joe Panetta to produce their debut EP, a highly anticipated release. September and October will see WaterPark touring Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
