Waterproof Feat

Waterproof Feat came together in March of 1998 and, despite the usual band-mate turnover traumas, has managed to stay on an even keel when it comes to their music. When Rex Lane, President of New Talent Search for Trinity Broadcasting Network, approached lead singer/songwriter Carly Kane to record one of her songs, "Whisper", Carly didn't hesitate. With a little help from her friends, Carly had pulled together a great group of musicians by the end of the week. Songs were written and arranged and the band known as Waterproof Feat emerged from the shadows.

Since then, the band has enjoyed healthy local success in the Atlanta limelight. Because of their Southern rock heritage, positive and uplifting lyrics and stellar musicianship, Waterproof Feat has established themselves as a frontrunner in Atlanta's booming music scene. No deep dark brooding music here, but sunny, larking melodies and solid rock backbone. With Carly's vibrant and energetic vocals, Waterproof Feat's music just plain rocks. Not to say they aren't thoughtful…just listen to the engaging "Amazed", their latest single, and it becomes crystal clear why she's singing out. From lyrics describing a woman's amusing opinion of herself turned positive, in "WonderWoman", to the freedom a person can gain in "Freedom from Yourself", this band is truly one to leave a good impression on everyone.
