Bio
Waterproof Souls features beautiful, passionate, and soulful harmonies, thoughtful lyrics, and compelling, catchy, melodies. Acoustic guitar, strings, and percussion fill out the mix, creating a fresh, organic, pop/folk sound.
Vocalist, percussionist, and keyboardist, Natalia Bortolotti, is a critically acclaimed singer-songwriter who has garnered awards from VH1, Billboard, and the John Lennon Song Contest. Her music is regularly featured on television, including CBS, VH1, MTV and CW/WB networks. She teaches Voice, Songwriting and Music Business, and has been a panelist for the Grammy Foundation, hosting workshops on hit songwriting.
Vocalist, Lindsay Pratt, has spent much of her life on the stage. She studied acting both in California and New York and has spent much of her time in the theater world but has recently moved away from theater and towards music as it truly makes her heart sing.
Vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist, Derek Spreckelmeyer, has sung pretty much since birth and played piano and guitar since fairly soon thereafter. Born in Memphis, he was the music director for Memphis' Playhouse on the Square with productions including Peter Pan, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Schoolhouse Rock Live!, and most recently, Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
