Watershed

Hailing from the deep south... of England, Watershed formed in 2004 on the back of solo festival performances. Following our first gig at a Tsunumi benefit at The Spitz in early 2005, we've gone on to develop our own unique blend of melodic funky rock. Our sound is cut from the rich seams of the delta blues, the rock of 1970's America, the roots of the south, the roll of New Orleans and all the way back from the folk of England. A four piece with a full sound we mostly get compared to larger ensembles such as Little Feat, The Band, Allman Brothers and by our younger audience to a souped up Ben Folds. Sometimes even to Elton John before he parted company with the brown dirt cowboy. Watershed have gigged extensively in the South East of England since 2006 and have developed a reputation for delivering through our love of being together on stage. We released our first full album - Songs From The Shed in December 2008
