WAUNTID (pronounced wanted) is a hard rock group made up of 3 brothers (Dorian, Lyle, and Curtis Smoler) born and raised in the far reaches of Canadas historic Dawson City,Yukon Territory.The oldest of the three, Curt (Vocals and guitars) , Lyle (drums and perccusion) and the youngest, Dorian (Bass and Vocals) for in 1999.Jamming for fun and to combat boredom they instantly clicked and soon made one original song and havent looked back since.
Described as a unique, hard hitting energetic rock group, and combined with an original lengthy songlist, the brothers have the ability to captivate a wide and diverse audience with a hard rock edge.Sharing the stage with many national and international acts they focus on an unforgettably performance day in and night out!!
Since thier formation the trio has worked hard as a DIY band, self promoting and managing themselves to this day.Several western Canadian tours, festivals and countless live shows in between which includes: Clubs, bars and charities, and many other social events has gained the band ample tour and stage experience as well as expanding thier fan base.They also wrote and co-produced thier first debut CD with Henderson Records (Whitehorse,YT) and another with Red Glow Records (Fort St John,BC), which was promptly followed with a western Canadian tour gaining much media exposure and extended fan base.
Armed with a powerfull live set, keen studio recording ability, a lengthy original song list of many style paired with amazing stage presence and energy, WAUNTID has established themselves as a highly reslilient and professional band.
