Mike Audet started playing professional in Aspen Colorado with his band Union909 in the 70's. This band, made up of Mike Audet, Bob Clayton and Fireball Clarke (yep that was his name) grew up in a world of folk, country, bluegrass and classic rock and found their own niche. Bob Clayton had already had a solid recording that hit the airwaves called "Don't Wait Too Long" and together they molded a new sound. Union 909 reformed in Pennsylvania with Carmen Fioriglio and Doug McClain and was "the" harmony band of their era that neck of the woods. From originals to CSNY they had a three part harmony sound that still stands up. Crosswind and Saylor came later with Mike leading an original band that played the college circuits and made money playing covers for the bar crowds. Years have passed and Mike spends his music time now writing and recording, in fact the last couple of years have been quite prolific with this music shifting to new areas and sounds. Time moves and the music continues and gets better.
