‘The Wayburn & Didi Show’

A mature audience comedy, Part improv, Part cabaret, ALL IN YOUR FACE!

‘The Wayburn & Didi Show’ is a bold, in-your-face, raunchy, improvised comedy, in the *“tradition of Don Rickles, and Lisa Lampanelli.” Wayburn Sassy is an 89 year old self-proclaimed “Entertainment Legend”. Mr. Sassy is a proud bigot and unapologetic rascist. He hates Blacks, Jews, Hispanics, Japs, Arabs, Islanders, the Taiwanese, Bongo Players, Ticket Scalpers, Men in kilts, and above all HOMOSEXUALS (to which he lovingly refers to as ‘Whimsicals’). Wayburn
has the excellent fortune to share the stage with his ‘Amorous Amazon’, his ‘Leggy-Lolita’, ‘The Girl-with-the-Gorgeous-Gams’, Miss Didi Panache. Didi loves everyone, but above all she loves Wayburn. Together, this mismatched twosome, transport the audience to a land where no subject is too taboo, and everyone takes part in the joke. (Not for the easily offended, or those who take everything literally.)

Dewey Chaffee/ Wayburn Sassy
Douglas McGeoch/ Didi Panache

Dewey Chaffee and Douglas McGeoch are partners, in life, as well as on stage. There is great dispute about how the couple met, in 2005. Douglas maintains that he met Dewey at a disco, because Douglas, later, apologized for being a bitch. Dewey acknowledges that, yes, he shook Douglas’ hand that evening, and, yes, Douglas was a bitch, BUT they didn’t “connect” until two weeks later, online.

Dewey Chaffee
Dewey Chaffee describes himself as an "accidental" comedian, having discovered his talent late in life. He has since performed stand-up comedy at the Palm Beach and Miami Improv, provided audience warm-up for Nickelodeon Television and opened for comedian Kevin Pollak. As the intolerant Wayburn Sassy, Dewey has created a world where no topic is taboo, and where, no matter how ornery he might be, the audience is always endeared to Mr. Sassy.

Douglas McGeoch
Douglas is a native Floridian and holds a Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance from Stetson University. He has performed with the Orlando Shakespeare Theater, the Orlando Opera, The Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh, The BBC Choir of Wales, and the Naples Philharmonic.
