Biography

Life has always been challenging growing up in rural MS. My family has worked the land, on cars or anything mechanical ever since I can remember. Some ofmy earliest memories were in my dads shop and what a 1/2 inch wrench lookedlike along with a multitude of tools necessary to my dads profession.

Music was very important in our family. From my mom playing hymns in churchto the almost ritualistic weekly gathering in front of the TV to watch Hee Haw. My grandmother, who also played the piano, bought my first keyboard. Listening to Hank Williams, Roy Acuff, Earl Scruggs, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Chuck Wagon Gang just to name a few, was a daily occurance.

Junior high and high school I found rock'n'roll, sports and girls, not necessarily in that order. Van Halen, AC/DC, Ted Nugent, 38 SPecial, Led Zepplin, Aerosmith and ZZ Top just to name a few, were staples back then. College brought about a whole new genre of music from Muddy Waters, Bobby Blue Band, Stevie Ray Vaughn to Rush, Queensyrche and countless others. Music has been a driving force within me all my life.

After two marriages, the loss of my grandmother and a best friend, came to the realization that, life really is too short. So, I decided to follow my hear and share this dream with as many people as I can with however much time I have left.

Let the Journey Begin.
