Bio

Wayne Longtin Sr. is available for solo performances, or, with his band, SideTracks, nationally.

Wayne is, first of all, a Singer/Songwriter. He appears regularly as a solo act in such places as Nashville, TN. A regular at the June; Nashville Songwriters Festival & the October; Loretta Lynn Songwriter Festival. He performs regular at such venues as The Nashville Palace, Commodore Lounge, Picks Lounge, Nashville Cowboy Church and Songwriter Showcases in Nashville Country DJ Bill Rainey at NBRN.FM Radio in Nashville plays Wayne's songs on a regular basis.
Wayne is also a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association, BMI, Country Gospel Association and the National Traditional Country Music Association. He also was picked for KOA Kampgrounds, Kampertainment program and performs at these campgrounds on a regular basis while traveling.

In 2008 Wayne joined forces with Ed & Kathy Dovel from Omaha, NE, and Terry Durr from LeMars, Iowa to form the SideTracks Band. In 2 years this group of friends has become very popular for their Traditional Country Sound. Unlike some other groups they focus on strictly Country Music. Although they also do some 50's Rock & Roll and have recorded a 50's music CD they prefer to specialize in Country Music. This was a good choice as the dance floors fill up where-ever they are appearing. The band was formed because they had become backup musicians at Country festivals and stayed extremely busy during these fests backing other performers. Since they enjoyed working together, why not start a band? It has paid off and the group stays busy all year long.

Update: In 2009 Wayne, Ed & Kathy were all inducted into the Traditional Country Music Hall of Fame. 2011 is the year for "on the road again"
