Lost Dog is a San Diego based Rock and Roll band.

Biography

Lost Dog is a four piece Independent Rock n Roll band that strives to create and perform music for their listeners to move and groove to. Their influences start with the dirty blues of Robert Johnson and John Lee Hooker and the bands they influenced such as The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, to the masterfully crafted songs of Tom Petty and the Black Crowes, with a dash of Pink Floyd and Neil Young. With front man Dana Spaulding on Guitar and Lead Vocals, Aaron Luke on Drums, Todd Everett on Lead Guitar and Jay Lauterwasser on Bass; the goal is only one thing, to play great music while having fun. Beginning in 2009 and based out of San Diego, Lost Dog has continually brought this attitude and energy to their live shows at venues such as Bar Eleven, House of Blues in San Diego, The Stage Bar and Grill in the Gaslamp and the Last Call Bar in the College area.

Currently Lost Dog is promoting their latest 10 song CD “Time Has Come” that they feel encompasses both the Lost Dog sound and the Lost Dog way. All of the basic tracks were recorded with Chris Grundy at his House of Plenty Studios in El Cajon and finished off by the band at Lost Dog’s home studio to make the sound and energy give this recorded effort the raw feel that appropriately represents the band as a whole.
