Biography

Way of the Groove started as a fusion of family and friends with a common interest in jazz music. Building on the jazz fusion traditions of Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Jaco Pastorius and others, they have developed a progressive sound all their own. They've been honing their chops with a weekly stint at Alligator Alley in Ft. Lauderdale since March 2003, and at venues throughout South Florida, including Tobacco Road, Rosey Baby and the 2004 Langerado Festival. Most recently, they had their New York debut, playing to a packed house for a two night stand at the Zinc Bar in Greenwich Village.
