Bio

The band Wayward Bypass was founded by Adam and Joanna in their hometown of Milton, Florida. Their success in the Florida panhandle led them to create their first album, entitled simply “Wayward Bypass”. It was released in September 2009. Wayward Bypass is currently working on their second album, hoping to release it in August, 2011.
Adam and Joanna share a deep appreciation for real music. Their belief is that meaningful lyrics combined with unique melodies make a real song. They both feel that the mainstream music industry has moved away from real music and embraced superficiality. Their longing is to bring real music back into mainstream…true poetry within unforgettable songs. Their signature sound when performing is their harmony. Their influences are many, but most prominent are Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Enya, The Cranberries, U2, Collective Soul and Keane, among others. Adam and Joanna believe music is truly the language of the heart and meant to spark feelings, thoughts, dreams and ideas in the heart of the listener.
