Discography

We have two CD's out. Both self-titled. They can be differentiated by the covers. One with Vanessa and a motorbike and the other the Yellow EP with a band shot. We are pushing the EP right now with 'HAIL!' leading the way. 'Bring Your Love' is next followed by 'Daredevil' which was featured prominately in Sony Pictures 'I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer'. After that is 'Now You See It' which is currently getting airplay at WFMU New Jersey/New York on Bill Kelly's show and Genya Raven's Sirius Satellite Radio undergroundgarage show. Also WBRU in Providence is featuring one of our songs of late.

Bio

Weapons of Pleasure formed in the San Francisco Bay Area when the band consisting of Reno, A.J. and Jeff recruited Vanessa via New Orleans to fill the open bass spot and infuse her incredible rock vocals into the sound. Soon we relocated to Los Angeles to play shows at the infamous Whiskey, the Viper Room and the Knitting Factory. As the jaded soundman at the Viper enthusically stated after their first show together, 'that was real rock and roll!!."

Invengo Records soon stepped in and while the band insisted on keeping their independence they did hook up with Invengo's Joshua Rumor to produce 3 songs. The inspired collaboration spawned the tracks 'DAREDEVIL', 'Now You See It' and 'BURN'. The song 'Daredevil' ended up being featured in Sony Pictures' 'I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer'. The band eventually migrated back north to the S.F. bay area and recorded the singles 'Bring Your Love' and 'HAIL!' to front the new CD they are currently shopping to all mediums. 'Now You See It' is currently getting airplay at WFMU New Jersey/New York and on the Garage Rock station on Sirius Satellite Radio.
We have also just recieved the news that 'BURN' has been used in CBS's television show 'The Mentalist' in April.

That being said the band has one main goal and that is to get their music heard by real rock and roll fans out there as we know they will appreciate it.
