Next Big Thing

I feel like i’m waiting in line while others fly right by/and the clock it ticks i turn 26 and my looks won’t get me by/and anytime you wonder why it is so cruel/just step on back and take a good hard look at you/this isn’t any way to live your life/when i could be a supermodel if you turned out all the lights/and when it rains it pours, and everybody forgets what they started for/it’s always the same thing/well, i don’t think i’ll ever succeed/with designer clothing or plastic surgery/who is running this game?/and if you just want to get out i won’t blame you/cause’ this bullshit system’s draining all my confidence in truth/this isn’t any way to live your life/when i could be a supermodel if you turned out all the lights/and when it rains it pours, and everybody forgets what they started it for/it’s always the same thing/and you move on, in time creation becomes your career and not your life/and you’re just looking for the next big thing to get you by.

Time Passes By

Everything has changed time and time again. The world it turns and leaves you here until it turns again. Time it passes by and leaves us to our lives. Like waves on the shore, it hurts more and more with the rise of the tide, and though everything is a chore, we still don’t close the door, and never have an alibi, and time it passes by and leaves us to our lives. When the world it passes by, it leaves us to our lives. I feel like I’ve lost my meaning, I feel like I’m wasting time, the purpose of my existence just to make it to the next sunrise and the world moves faster and it’s changing all the time, you’ve gotta want it hard enough, you’ve gotta feel it in your bones tonight and though everything is a chore, we still don’t close the door, and never have an alibi, and time it passes by and leaves us to our lives. When the world it passes by, it leaves us to our lives.

Wait for the Signal

I think it’s strange, we both don’t look the same. It’s only been two years and sixteen days, but i’ve been trying not to count it since you don’t want to talk about it, and I keep it tucked away like an animal in it’s cage. But i’m not one to judge you, or hold something above you, I just think it might be time to rearrange, and you can wait for the signal while your heart it dies, keep confiding in the ones who wipe the tears from your eyes, and just keep playing the games, the ones you can control. I know it’s hard to find a reason when you build yourself up and dress yourself down, and i’m not one to judge you, or hold something above you, I just think it might be time to rearrange, and you can wait for the signal while your heart it dies, keep confiding in the ones who wipe the tears from your eyes, and just listen to the good things while the bad they take their toll, and you just wait for the signal no you never act, and you treat love like the monkey on your back, and you keep playing the games, the ones you can control. I’m sick, and i’m tired, of shoving my hand in the fire, and i’m not dumb, and i’m not blind, and I know you’re a fucking liar. And you can wait for the signal while your heart it dies, keep confiding in the ones who wipe the tears from your eyes, and just listen to the good things while the bad they take their toll, and you just wait for the signal no you never act, and you treat love like the monkey on your back, and you keep playing the games, the ones you can control.

When You Rise You’ve Fallen

Well, I can’t say the world has "changed", but would you really want it? And as for those who change their names and minds, would you really flaunt it? When you rise you’ve fallen under the steps, do you realize that you’re going deaf and blind? One more time. Ask me one more time, are you okay? And when you rise you’ve fallen under the steps, may the worst thing that happen be you run out of breath, and when it comes down to it, do you step in line? You might say that i’m a fool, but i’m just trying to bring some truth into the world, and i know, i know. Hello, hello, may I be excused? We are, we are the falsified and we know it. We know it. Ask me one more time, are you okay? And when you rise you’ve fallen under the steps, may the worst thing that happen be you run out of breath, and when it comes down to it, do you step in line?
