Fall Like You're Flying

Before they were known as Echo Echo this dynamic rock band caught the eye of famed producer, Rupert Hine.  He approached the four members and an instant connection was made.  Rupert took Steve Carson (vocals, guitar, piano), Jameson Burt (lead guitar, vocals), Darren Carr (drums) and Bruce Yolken (bass) under his wing and together they created Echo Echo’s first full length album, “Fall Like Your’e Flying.” With  Record Engineer/ Producer Alex Gibson on board, and with Henson Studio as their new home Echo Echo had the perfect collaboration for creating this powerful and provocative 12 song debut.
This band, formerly known as the Steve Carson Band, has created quite a following in their 6 year history.  Echo Echo has been humbly likened to such bands as U2 for their songwriting, Radiohead for their sonic landscape and Snow Patrol for their hooks. Echo Echo has gigged regularly at the historic L.A. haunts Hotel Café, Molly Malones, and their beloved Lava Lounge. Past show highlights include their standing ovation, and encore performance at the Bitter End, in New York, where they were given an open invitation to return and play any time. After the album release on September 7th, 2010, the band threw a party at the Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa to 300 of their closest friends.

Echo Echo is known for their live performances. Each member brings that certain something you can’t quite put your finger on. Together, this foursome demands your attention and forces you to notice. For the first time Echo Echo has captured this intensity in “Fall Like You’re Flying.” “Dove,” the debut’s thought provoking 9th track, is responsible for the lyrics that lend the album it’s name. “Fall Like You’re Flying” is a true journey. You may start listening in one place, but each song picks you up and takes you to an entirely new location. Once you give the entire album a listen, you find yourself both transported and transformed.

Always leading the way in promoting, the band launched a website to distribute “Fall Like You’re Flying” for free to their fans. For the collectors, a limited edition double record is available on vinyl. A CD single featuring the “Good Morning Remix” produced by Nate Jenkins and two unreleased tracks are also available.
