F.I.L.T.H is a modern, American heavy metal/metalcore band in the styles of bands such as Soulfly, The Butcher Babies, Pantera, and Slipknot. They have a live show reminiscent of the shenanigans and debauchery that were so prevalent in 80s bands such as W.A.S.P, KISS, and King Diamond. F.I.L.T.H brings you the heavy sound of modern American metal styles with the bounce and groove of hard rock. Experiencing F.I.L.T.H live is a completely separate and awesome thing.

Lions, and Zebras, and FILTH – Oh my! (Orlando Bands.com / Evermore Sound Battle of the Bands Finals) – Rose's Damned Opinion

“We were all given an extra helping of FILTH on this night. The guys were as amazing and outrageous as ever. Their devious and FILTHY little plan is working…..with solid ass kicking metal, these consummate showmen are proving one set after another that metal can definitely be good fun…. Why, be so dark and serious all the time? The more we see ‘em, the more we love ‘em, as they progressively move forward teasing us with just a little more naughtiness each show.”

The Evermore Battle of the Bands first semi-finalist is crowned in Orlando – The Examiner

“The band’s live show is something that must be seen to be appreciated and enjoyed. The band members, Eric Mann (vocals), Mike Andes (guitar), Mikey Vettel (bass) and Freddie Hull (drums), feel duty bound to put the fun back into a live music show. Their attitude and passion along with numerous stage props and skits enhanced their music, taking it up several levels beyond what has become the norm for live music shows. Witnesses to the spectacle Friday night didn’t even need to be metal fans to enjoy the show and end the night with a smile on their face.”

F.I.L.T.H. & Greg Wilnau Manager of Apollo Electric-February 11th, 2015 – Raw Talk Live

"These guys are awesome...you guys are always doing something crazy...over-the-top without being ridiculously over-the-top..."

Artist Interview Series: F.I.L.T.H – Mike Hoy

"One thing remains the same through the turbulence of my changing preferences: I am ALWAYS down for a greasy, grimey, angst-driven rock 'n roll experience. I was raised on an eclectic mix of 90's rock and jazz and somehow I always come back to the deepest, darkest parts of musical genre. F.I.L.T.H embodies this for me...a powerfully putrid escape that, against all that is known, feels comfortable."

From the Pit to the Crowd: Kelen Heller with F.I.L.T.H, Auditory Armory, (de)absolve, and Rellek – Bernard Cana, Dread Music Reviews

"Eric’s unique singing to screaming vocals plus the music shows why F.I.L.T.H is so highly loved. Mikey’s bass line mixed in with Mike and Josh’s guitars sounded perfect. Add in Freddie’s drumming and it was amazing. I was blown away. They followed with “The Quiet Song” which took up the energy a notch. It felt like F.I.L.T.H wanted to make this the performance of a lifetime."
