Biography

The Constant is a post-punk/indie-rock band from New York City, fronted by singer-guitarist Steven Baggs, whose powerful vocals, earnest lyrics and catchy song writing lend the band comparisons to Green Day, Foo Fighters and Weezer. A tight rhythm section manned by drummer Fabio Amato and bassist Matthew Michael helps keep the music sounding tight and the energy high with every note recorded and played both in the studio and during their live shows.

In Spring of 2007, The Constant entered NADA Recording Studio to begin recording 'The Constant EP'. In November of 2008, they continued recording tracks for the EP at The Pilot Studio. The songs, co-produced by Baggs, are packed with upbeat power anthems influenced by the writing of artists from the late 90's till today and whose sound has been called a mix of melodious pop fused with organic rock.

The Constant released their latest EP, Let's Go Analog, in April of 2011. Each song is filled with sharpened hooks toughened by innovative guitar riffs and harmonious vocals that will settle into your head and stay there. With Let's Go Analog the band looks to further solidify themselves as a true rock ensemble - writing, playing and producing their own music.

Currently, The Constant are working on new music and gearing up to hit the studio and record a new collection of songs they can't wait for the world to hear.c
