Hatred in the Flesh EP- 2011

Pariah came into fruition with Vocalist/Rhythm Guitarist Alexander Orlandi and Bassist Stephen La Porta coming together to form the group. Shortly after, fate seemed to facilitate the completion of the lineup when Alexander met Lead Guitarist Gianpiero Nunziata for the first time. And when long time friend and Drummer Joseph Del Campo expressed serious interest in the project, he was confidently added to the band. After spending a great deal of time contemplating their stylistic direction and sculpting songs, the group embarked on recording their first EP with extreme attention to detail throughout the entire process.

Pariah’s sound is defined by their blood hungry playing, as well as extremely memorable guitar riffs and drumming. Each piece is defined by Pariah’s ability to successfully demonstrate their intense musicianship while still allowing the warmth of their personalities to permeate directly into the music. Pariah’s music provides sufficient proof of the existence of a truly unique, highly exhilarating understanding of the style and execution that is authentic to the genre while successfully compelling and convincing any listener that regardless of its genre, great music is simply great music.

Some of the universal lyrical themes include: promotion of individuality and self-discovery, deceptive behavior patterns, and ideas of morality. Pariah is attributed with a very self-reflective and contemplative nature, imploring the listener to always take a moment to simply contemplate and understand their experiences in order to constantly facilitate personal growth.

Pariah is characterized by their intense hard working attitude as they pursue any dimension of their personal vision. All of the band’s efforts are executed harmoniously with their unique personal touch. Their strong presence and genuine nature is what deems them as purely unforgettable for anyone who has come into contact with them.
