Bio

I was a keyboard player in high school. After that I became a drummer playing in several bands throughout the years. I came to a point when I thought, "I'm getting nowhere being a drummer because to be a drummer and make it in the music biz you need a band!" And in June of 2000 I put away the drums, dusted off my guitar and headed out solo! That's when I formed WEATHERD. It started out as a solo project. Then in 2005 I met two guys, Bryan Wallace and Jeff Gilbert. They became the first full-time members of WEATHERD. We recorded a CD and performed at big local places such as The Maine Mall, Cumberland County Civic Center, Hadlock Field, the TV show "207", and the radio show 93.1 Coast Morning Show. No other band in Maine was doing what we were doing. Even though there were other local "famous" bands with a lot more fans than we had, no band could touch us. Our song "Jetport" is still being spun on WCLZ 98.9. In 2008 a record company came to the band and wanted to sign us right away! I was excited because this is what I have been working on all my life. The label wanted to record a new record, get us on national radio and on a national tour. Now at this point I thought everything was going great for us. But Bryan and Jeff didn't like the idea. I honestly don't know what happened but in my eyes the oppotunity was to big for them to handle. Within weeks both Jeff and Bryan left the band. So the label said, "Well, you wrote all but two songs off your first record. You started this thing as a solo artist. So why not go back to doing so." They signed me as a solo artist with me keeping the band name WEATHERD. Now I could not be more happy. I don't need to ask anyone to do anything anymore. I now have a supporting band that loves my music and we get along very well.
