Bio
We Beat The System are a Sunderland based five piece band who formed in October 2009. They are a reasonably young band with signs of huge potential, already proven when they were tagged as the UK's 'Best Alternative Unsigned Act' in July 2010. Since forming the band they have supported the likes of; The Automatic, Frankie and the Heartstrings, Chapel Club, Flashguns, Dutch Uncles and Wilder and also played Sunderlands 2010 Split Festival alongside Maximo Park and The Futureheads. Their sound has been described as Alternative/Post-Punk Revival, similar to bands such as Editors and White Lies, even being dubbed an early U2 by one Journalist. They are currently recording new material alongside Lets Buy Happiness James Hall along with others.
