Bio

Louie Torrellas, David ‘Sauce’ Foster and Cory Fernandez have been doing comedy together for over six years now when they used to bump into each other in NYC’s downtown urban comedy circuit. Five years later, after being seen on NBC, NICK, MTV, BET, HBO and more to mainstream comics performing at some of NYC’s most famous comedy clubs like Caroline’s, Stand-Up NY, Laugh Factor, the Comic Strip and more.

During this same time Louie Torrellas and Jimmy Aponte created the comedy campus invasion series where they began bringing the downtown comedy scene right into NYC college campuses. They enlisted DJ Zeke, a hot NYC college DJ and began doing shows. During their weekly series at St. John’s University, Jimmy and Louie realized that the comics that were consistently well received were those who were polished comedians close to the age of college students. Little by little schools began to request the same comedians come over and over again. A light bulb went off in the producer’s heads, and they then created the “We Got Next!” tour. Successful comedian Talent Harris created the name (WGN) as to show that this group of comedians is the “next big thing”.

Laugh Fiend Productions combined the core of Louie Torrellas, David 'Sauce' Foster, Cory Fernandez and DJ Zeke leaving only one missing link. This comic was found as the producers saw a 24-year-old comic, Nore Davis, on MTV’s “Yo Mamma” who absolutely stole the show. The “We Got Next!” tour has been received incredibly well in colleges and comedy clubs in NYC. LaughFiend Productions is now bringing the troup to NACA’s conferences with the hopes of taking the tour to a national level.

'We Got Next' caters to the MTV/BET audiences because they are young, hip and talk about every possibly relevant social issue relating to college students. The cast is based out of NYC, bringing a street savvy and edginess that is unbeknownst to college campuses around the country while still using material that would be suitable for a television spot.
