Feeling Of Obligation

Written By: We Know Jackson

Put yourself out with open arms
With nothing you’ve got nothing to lose
When you have everything that you’ve wanted
Then you have everything to lose

Where did you go when I thought that I loved you
You left me here all alone
If trust is a game now you know I cant win
Cause you left me here all alone

Fools rush in and some might say
The light turns to darkness in the passing of a day
And you’ll find out whats really inside

A touch on the back or a brush of a hand
Connections overlooked in this fairy tale land
For the dreams that we wish, realities that bring pain
Point us to a prayer in the hopes that God will keep is all sane

Fools rush in and some might say
The light turns to darkness in the passing of a day
A pillar stands between me and what I once had
Or what I thought I had

I wont make time when the time of my day
Isn’t enough that’ll make you wanna stay and
I gave all I got for a love I found
I don’t want you to wait for me to come around
Now the feeling’s not the same anymore and
The time I put in I don’t adore
This feeling of obligation
I don’t want you to wait for me to come around

A tale of a truth, you only thought it was true
Like salt on the dot of my eye
It’s like the world out from the bottom of my feet
Without a chance to ever stand again

Where did you go when I thought that I loved you
You left me here all alone
If trust is a game now you know I cant win
Cause you left me here all alone

Fools rush in and some might say
The light turns to darkness in the passing of a day
A pillar stands between me and what I once had
Or what I thought I had

I wont make time when the time of my day
Isn’t enough that’ll make you wanna stay and
I gave all I got for a love I found
I don’t want you to wait for me to come around
Now the feeling’s not the same anymore and
The time I put in I don’t adore
This feeling of obligation
I don’t want you to wait for me to come around

Now I’ve gotta put you back where the feelings lack
So I can get to the time when your smile wont make me cry and I in this time of my life find you where you don’t wanna be

I wont make time when the time of my day
Isn’t enough that’ll make you wanna stay and
I gave all I got for a love I found
I don’t want you to wait for me to come around

Now the feeling’s not the same anymore and
The time I put in I don’t adore
This feeling of obligation (no more)
I don’t want you to wait for me to come around
Back into love that I thought that I had found
You’re a “build me up so I can knock you down”
Don’t sit and wait for me to come around

Call It Good

Written By: We Know Jackson

Looking over my shoulder
Wishing it was summertime
Where it don’t feel wrong
And it feels so right hanging in the sky

How could you honestly tell me, yeah
That ya really been true to me
When in reality a half hearted smile
Tells me it aint right
That it's not worth the fight
Tryin' to keep you by my side

When you told me you loved me
I thought that it could really be
Not just an antic of yours
To trap me in and lock me down

But now baby I’m worried
About the song you’re singing me
Because the versus do not match the refrain
and now I'm afraid
that you might not be singing about me
you must not be thinkin about me
the trust is lost for good even though...

So in love with you am I
And I have stayed though all of your lies
Now I’m trapped in with no place to go
Now you know that I know that it’s time
To call it good

Now I don’t wanna lose you
But lately its been eating me
Is it really you or just the thought of you
that completes me

How could I trust you now
When I know you’ve run around
All I am to you in your pretty baby
Now the story told grows old
thought it changes day by day
doesnt even really make me wanna say...

So in love with you am I
And I have stayed though all of your lies
Now I’m trapped in with no place to go
Now you know that I know that it’s time
To call it good

I said right now I’m tired or your shit
You know I don’t stop crying when I close my eyes
I wont carry on, movin on, never knew I was wrong
thinkin' that you'd come around
Now We Know Jackson is making a hit
Out of a story that you didn’t recognize yourself with
It's a Beautiful Disaster so let me alone
and keep yourself away from my heart.

Now you're not gonna find me
in the places that I used to be
what I'm not gonna do is drop it all at all
and sit around waiting for you
Now the one thing we both know
out of love with you I must fall
but when you keep crawling back and kissing me like that
it doesnt really make me wanna be alone

So in love with you am I
And I have stayed though all of your lies
Now I’m trapped in with no place to go
Now you know that I know that it’s time
To call it good
