Fort Worth, TX based rap group, WE MAYJA is ready to make their mark in the music industry. The Dirty South, in particular Atlanta, Miami and Houston have been known for releasing songs with “crunk” and dance variations. WE MAYJA brings a new flavor to the game with a style of music that everyone can relate to. From street anthems to songs dedicated to the ladies, this talented trio proves two things: That southern music doesn’t have to require a dance move and that Houston and Dallas aren’t the only cities in Texas with talent.
 
In 2004, current members Jae-D and Rhylz along with five other childhood friends began a rap group recording music with a karaoke machine and slowly evolved to a music studio owned by one of the members. In 2006, wanting to move into a more serious direction, Jae-D and Rhylz linked up with Jae-D’s brother KD The Dynamite to form one of the hottest groups to come out of the “Funk”, WE MAYJA.
 
WE MAYJA’s current hit singles, “Feelin Myself” and “Ms. Pinky” are getting local, national, and international AM/FM and internet radio play. Upon their first performance at Club Hush in Dallas, WE MAYJA has been requested to perform at various venues such as Club Axis and Club Chrome in Fort Worth, Rack Daddy and The Ranch in Arlington and Palm Beach, Tom Cats and Club Bone in Dallas. WE MAYJA has also shared the stage with such major artists as Z-RO, Slim Thug, Trae the Truth, Webbie, Tum Tum and Big Tuck.

WE MAYJA has a swagger that lets people know, “We Mayja without a deal” and vow to always represent their city of Fort Worth. What sets this dynamic trio apart from other artists, is their rap/singing abilities. We Mayja has a distinct style and wants to continue making music that everyone can enjoy.
