Lyrics

Are You Happy Now?

Written By: Wendy Wood

Are You Happy Now?

V1: Well everyone though we were the perfect pair
But you weren’t satisfied you didn’t seem to care
“I found somebody new” you said to me
“She really makes me feel so happy”

V2: Now the roses all have fallen from your bed
‘cause she left for better happiness instead
And I heard she left you pretty good and how
Well I’ve just one thing to say “Are you happy now?

CHORUS: Are you happy now that you’re all alone?
Sittin’ there at night waiting for the phone
She wrung you out, chewed you up and cut you to the bone
Are you happy now that you’re all alone?

V3: Things weren’t always as they seemed when we were together
You were always running round on me however
Now your R.M. Wiliams is on the other foot
And if revenge is sweet it’s feeling pretty good

CHORUS: Are you happy now that you’re all alone?................

BRIDGE: I’m so sorry if I don’t sound sympathetic
I’m not pining over you so just forget it
And don’t you come a knocking on my door
‘Cause stupid doesn’t live here anymore

CH: Are you happy now that you’re all alone?..........

TAG: Oh, are you happy now that you’re all alone?

My Heart's Still Holding On

Written By: Wendy Wood

Seems no matter what I do
I can't stop loving you
Though you lied and cheated on me from the start
Now you've been gone so long
and though you've done me wrong
There's no way that I can tell it to my heart.

'Cause my heart wont listen to
a bad word about you
It's still loyal to the love that we once shared
And though I konw it's true
There's nothing I can do
When my heart's still holding on to when you cared.

Chorus: So wont you tell my heart that you don't love me
Cause my mind's already ready to move on
My heart remembers how you used to love me
It can't accept the fact that you are gone
There must be something you can do to show it
There must be someway you can let it know
So wont you tell my heart that you don't love me anymore
'Cause my heart still holding on and wont let go.

Instrumental

Rpt Chorus.

Do You Want Love With That?

Written By: Wendy Wood

V1: Rosie’s been a waitress in this café
So many years that somehow she’s lost count
But she’s got hopes and dreams like any other
Can’t believe she hasn’t chased them down
There’s one thing in her day that keeps her going
And he’s about to walk right through that door
She’s knows just what he wants before he orders
One day she’ll find the nerve to tell him more

CH: Do you want love with that?
My heart comes with a welcome mat
And a lot of hugs and kisses on the side
Just tell me what you need. It won’t take very long to see
Here inside my heart is where it’s at
Do you want love with that?

He’s right on time today like any other
Sits down in his favourite corner booth
He’s smiling as she brings him out his coffee
She’s wishing she could serve him up the truth
Cause life is short and who knows where it’s going
One day he mightn’t walk right through that door
Today she’s gonna tell him how she’s feeling
When he opens up his bill he’ll know the score

CH: Do you want love with that?.................................

Bridge: He only need give her inkling
A little hope to see her through
And she’d walk out that door with him and start her life anew
He left his money on the table and she never would have guessed
When she picked it up to pay it inside he’d written the word ‘Yes’

CH: I’ll have love with that
My heart comes with a welcome mat
And I’ll take those hugs and kisses on the side
Just tell me what you need. It won’t take very long to see
That here inside my heart is where it’s at
Tag: Yes I’ll have love with that.

I Can't Get Into Christmas

Written By: Wendy Wood

I CAN’T GET INTO CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR

Verse 1:IT’S HARD TO BELIEVE IT’S THE END OF THE YEAR
THE SEASONS HAVE GONE BY AND CHRISTMAS IS HERE
‘CAUSE EVERYTHING’S CHANGED
MY LIFE’S REARRANGED WITHOUT YOU, WITHOUT YOU
THE CITY IS SHINING LIGHTS BLAZING SO BRIGHT
BUT I’M GOING HOME TO A SAD SILENT NIGHT
THE CHILDREN ARE LAUGHING WITH CHRISTMASSY CHEER
I CAN’T GET INTO CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR

CHORUS I CAN’T GET INTO CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR
I CAN’T DECK THE HALLS WITHOUT SHEDDING A TEAR
THE ANGELS ARE SINGING THEIR HEAVENLY SONGS
I’M STILL TRYING TO WORK OUT WHEN IT ALL WENT WRONG
THE SEASON BRINGS MEMORIES SO CRYSTALA AND CLEAR
I CAN’T GET INTO CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR

V2: MY FRIENDS ARE ALL CALLING THEY WANT ME AROUND
MY LIFE IS AN EMOTIONAL MERRY GO ROUND
THEY ALWAYS KNEW IT WAS MY FAVOURITE TIME
BUT LATELY THINGS DON’T HAVE A REASON OR RHYME
AND OLD SANTA CLAUS WON’T BRING ME WHAT I NEED
‘CAUSE I ONLY WANT YOU TO BE HERE WITH ME
CAN’T GET OVER FEELINGS THAT YOU ONCE HELD DEAR

CHORUS I CANT GET INTO CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR…………………………

BRIDGE
CAN’T GET INTO PRESENTS THAT SPARKLE AND SHINE
CAN’T GET INTO HEARING THOSE JINGLE BELLS CHIME
THE DRUMMER BOYS PLAYING A WHOLE DIFFERENT BEAT
WITHOUT YOU BESIDE ME IT’S JUST NOT COMPLETE
CHORUS ICAN’T GET INTO CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR………………………..

TAG

YOUR GOODBYE’S STILL RINGING SO CLEAR IN MY EAR
I CAN’T GET INTO CHRISTMAS
I JUST CAN’T FORGET US
CAN’T GET INTO CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR
