Bio
WE SAY's formation was a progression of more and more friends coming together to collaborate. Bassist and guitarist Ben and Jack Ewing started writing songs before taking them to keyboardist Nick Maclean-Bowman to flesh out with. The talented Thomas Garaci was added to give them all rhythm and Nick Notten's energy and vocals rounded out the once minimal songs into well formed pieces. Writing music that adheres to their own style of indie rock, it is primarily influenced by whatever they are currently listening to or inspired by. Direct influences are Foals, Tokyo Police Club, and Whitest Boy Alive. Nothing gives WE SAY more of a rush than playing to a crowd of people moving their feet. They hope to keep that up until they are old and grey.
