Lyrics

This Always Works, Sometimes

Written By: Wesley Woo

I don’t know what this is, lately/
I don’t know what this is, now/
I don’t know what you call easy/
I’m pretty damn sure this ain’t fine/

I don’t know what you call crazy/
I like to think this is my time/
This is as, close to heaven as I plan on being/
So I’m ready to write my own rhymes/

I don’t really know how to say this/
I don’t really know how this goes/
I wrote the first two lines and it was, hit or miss/
So I’ll just sing the parts that I know/

I ain’t no poker player/
I don’t really like to call bluffs/
But I don’t believe for one fucking second/
That you got the royal flush/

I’ll, be ok/
I’ll be alright/
I don’t need this rain delay/
This always works, sometimes/

I’ll, be ok/
I’ll be alright/
I don’t need this rain delay/
This always works, sometimes/

(solo)

This ain’t no cheesy love song/
Not singing about some girl/
Love can’t defeat, the songs on repeat/
To the soundtrack of my own world/

I don’t really need your reason/
I can write my own rhymes/
It’s been, two weeks since my defeat/
In the battle that I like to call time/

I’ll, be ok/
I’ll be alright/
I don’t need this rain delay/
This always works, sometimes/

I’ll, be ok/
I’ll be alright/
I don’t need this rain delay/
This always works, sometimes/

I am the unknown/
You are the unknown/
We are the unknown/
Until we are defined/

I’ll, be ok/
I’ll be alright/
I don’t need this rain delay/
This always works, sometimes/

I’ll, be ok/
I’ll be alright/
I don’t need this rain delay/
This always works, sometimes/

I don't really know how to say this/
This song ain't supposed to rhyme/
Four bars a line, make sense all the time/
This always works, sometimes/

Fall Again

Fall Again
Wesley Woo

I don’t believe in fate no/
I don’t believe in love/
I don’t believe in waitin’ round/
For some perfect royal flush/

// //

I can run my temper/
And I can check my mouth/
I don’t need your dictionary/
To know what this song’s about, it goes/

// //

Do re mi fa sol la ti/
Do-wa-ditty-dum/
Do re mi fa sol la ti/
And I end up back on one/

// //

Do re mi fa sol la ti/
Do-wa-ditty-dum/
Do re mi fa sol la ti/
And I end up back in love/

// //

I believe in second chances/
Second dates and second glances/
You believe in warm romances/
Warming up to wars we can’t win/

// //

I don’t need to be don’t need to see/
Your stupid meant to be/
I can fill in the blanks fill in my name/
To the song that’s halfway sang, it goes/

// //

Do re mi fa sol la ti/
Do-wa-ditty-dum/
Do re mi fa sol la ti/
And I end up back on one/

// //

Do re mi fa sol la ti/
Do-wa-ditty-dum/
Do re mi fa sol la ti/
And I end up back in love/

// //

I-I, I know how this goes/
I-I, I’ve played with fire before/
I-I, I know how this goes/
I-I, I…/
Well I’ll fall again/

// //

I believe in you/
And I believe in me/
I believe two wrongs will make/
A right eventually/

// //

I believe in lookin’/
And I believe in leapin’/
I believe I’ll cross that bridge/
When it’s paved well for my singin’, oh/

// //

Do re mi fa sol la ti/
Do-wa-ditty-dum/
Do re mi fa sol la ti/
And I end up back on one/

// //

Do re mi fa sol la ti/
Do-wa-ditty-dum/
Do re mi fa sol la ti/
And I end up back in love/

// //

I-I, I know how this goes/
I-I, I’ve played with fire before/
I-I, I know how this goes/
I-I, I…/

// //

Well I’ll fall again/
