Wes Scott

Wes Scott creates music...as he has always done since his first memories. Wes began to transition what was in his head to actual sound in 2007 with the self-release of an unconventional, ambient, and melodic instrumental EP called "Greenbird EP". He then dropped the reservations about his voice and made a full length album entitled "PM AM" in early 2009. The songs ran the proverbial gamet of emotion and varied in regards to style as well; drawing on such influences as the Beatles, Elliott Smith, Radiohead, Beck, and the White Stripes. After a year of playing to crowds of 4 to 400, he spent a year working with a local band, 5 Dollars Buster. The band played locally and released a demo just as they decided to pursue other ventures. It was also during this time that Wes self-released a 3 track EP entitled "The Big Lemon". The Big Lemon was a substantial step forward in songwriting though it dims in comparison to what is beyond the horizon. Wes has now released a follow-up album that promises to fully vanquish any doubts as to whether what has been nestled and nurtured within his own heart could ever be adequately represented...In The Pines.
