A city bleeds for a story. As Nashville instigates a rock & roll scene, Wes Sp8 has forged his wrought-iron sound. Five years have passed in the crafting of Sp8’s unique vocal character that breathes the life into his music and lyrics.

Currently, Sp8 is playing gigs around Nashville at places like The End, The 5 Spot and the Music Society & Lightning 100 Independent Artist Spotlight Show, all while continuing to write numerous songs a month. Outside his recording schedule, Sp8 also invests in his community through organizing writer’s nights and his involvement with Radical Notion (independent media).

Pounding the streets of Nashville, Sp8 is a maverick, forsaking the comfort of a posse. The aire about him commands your respect, yet when he jokes, his bizarre humor is inventive, but bonkers enough to convince you he is a little crazy, really. His spooky hooks reek of his ability to captivate his audience. Thoughtful lyrical content reflect the copious life experiences illustrated in his sound. Think John Wayne and Carol Burnett raising a musician then kicking him out of their home. His “Please Ep” is indie/folk rock ranging from very loud and aggressive to soft and spacey. His absurd antics will have you so fearful of the apocalypse that you can't help but dance.
