AOK Promotions and Productions Announces the Release of "River of Jordan" by the West Virginia Couriers
February 20, 2015 Adam & Angel Knight, owners of AOK Promotion have announced the release of the debut single from the West Virginia Couriers with the company. "River of Jordan" will hit the airwaves on March 2nd, 2015. Adam Knight states, "There are few artists out there right now with more going for them than WV Couriers. They bring great vocals, excellent production, and a heart for ministry to the table."

The West Virginia Couriers have been performing regionally, as a male quartet, since being founded in 1978 by Michael Morris. The group has received many honors, most notably the designation as "West Virginia Goodwill Ambassadors for Gospel Music." They have shared the stage with some of Southern Gospel music's most noted artists, such as The Cathedrals, Gold City, Master's V, and Wendy Bagwell & The Sonlighters. AOK and the group have also entered a nonexclusive booking agreement.

Bio

The West Virginia Couriers gospel group was formed in 1978, and its

members are still living up to their name:  “A messenger traveling in

haste to deliver an important report.”  They’re taking the Gospel of

Jesus Christ in song without hesitation to help uplift, enlighten and

 save all those who  hear.”

It all started with a dream thirty two years ago. In 1978, Michael Morris’ dream came true. He founded an all male quartet known as “The West Virginia Couriers”. Not long after the start of the group, Secretary of State, A. James Manchin, learned of their talent and in 1980, awarded them with the “West Virginia Goodwill Ambassador Award for Gospel Music”. Throughout the years, The WV Couriers have traveled all over the Eastern Coast spreading God’s word through music. The Couriers have sung with several groups such as the Cathedrals, the Singing Americans, Wendy Bagwell and the Sunlighters, the Masters Five and Gold City Quartet. Many talented singers have been a part of The Couriers until the early 1990’s when he was joined once again by his son Jason and long time friend Allen Legg. It has been a pleasure to sing with such talent and to see the many souls saved over the years. There is not a better feeling than receiving a new brother or sister in Christ. The Couriers take their families to almost every appointment because family means a lot to them, and their families are supportive in all of their endeavors.
