West51

What began as an acoustic cover band playing a wide range of genres and styles of music, from classic rock to red dirt and top 40 country, has evolved into the full-on original band known as West 51. West 51 consists of three songwriters with exceptional talent whose musical roots stem from the Red Dirt bands that rock Texas country radio today. West51 first gained popularity in 2006 in the college town of Stillwater, OK and has gone on to play throughout Oklahoma and Texas, opening for bands such as Jack Ingram, Bleu Edmondson, Brandon Ryder, Aaron Watson and Mickey & the Motorcars.

With the addition of songwriter and guitarist Chad DuBois in 2009, West51 has captured its unique, honest style into their own original songs. Corey’s distinctive vocal style, which catipulted him into the third round of Nashville star, combined with Matt’s manipulation of acoustic and electric guitars and the exceptional songwriting and guitar skills of Chad creates the one-of-a-kind sound that is now West51.

Live, West51 takes the stage like true entertainers, and, although they like to show off their original work, they still play their fans’ favorite covers…with their own little twist.
