The nation’s hottest country act, Westbrook, is quickly sweeping through the plains and stirring up quite the buzz within the country music scene. The band is rapidly following the steps of other Oklahoma natives and becoming the next mega vocal group to come from the sooner state.

The powerful vocals, led by lead singer Matt Johns, captivates audiences of all ages while the rest of the band carefully weaves a variety of complex harmonies to produce an incredible range of hit songs from ballads to catchy melodies. “I have never been surrounded by such talented musicians, who are also singers in their own right” Matt says. With radio friendly songs like “Lost in Your Eyes” that leaves the audience singing along with the band to the moving power ballad of “Break My Heart This Time”, this band shows off that they are definitely not one dimensional or one hit wonders.

The Oklahoma City group is made up of lead vocalist Matt Johns, lead guitarist/vocalist Paul McNabb, rhythm guitarist/vocalist Joey Berry, bass/vocals Jon Bohlen and drummer/vocalist Dominic Dangora. The group has weathered the ups and downs of the road and the countless hours of rehearsals while holding down multiple jobs in order to see their dreams come true. Their brotherhood reflects both on and off the stage as these guys continue to push forward.

The group has managed to share the stage with groups such as Eli Young Band, The Carter Twins, Wanda Jackson, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Stoney Larue, Kevin Fowler, and many more.

Matt Johns – Lead Vocals – Matt’s solid vocals and stage presence contributes to the solid foundation that the band has worked hard at. He has been featured at the Oklahoma State Fair and other festivals in the southern United States. He also is a lead performer at the Oklahoma Centennial Rodeo Opry. In 2009, Matt was documented in the Food Network “My Life in Food” where he made his national debut singing.

Paul McNabb – Lead Guitar/Vocals – Picking up the guitar at the age of 11, Paul has carefully crafted his skills starting out in cover bands to eventually sharing the stage with some of the biggest country acts. Having spent several years touring with various groups, Paul continues to lay a solid foundation for the band.

Joey Berry – Rhythm Guitar/Vocals – Dallas, TX native moved to Norman at the age of 18 to attend college. It was there that he played with many different artist playing styles of music from John Mayer to Jason Aldean. Joey’s solid foundation in music theory, leadership on stage and vocal harmonies make him a key to the bands success.

Jon Bohlen – Bass/Vocals – Jon brings a whole new level of talent and vocal ability to the band having come from a background in music performance at the Academy of Contemporary Music where he studied the bass. During that time, Jon has performed with many great artist including rock and roll hall of fame member Wanda Jackson.

Dominic Dangora – Drums/Vocals – New England native came to the sooner state to pursue a degree in performance in drums at the Academy of Contemporary Music. It is there that he met Jon, which led to joining Westbrook. Dom’s natural talent behind the kit and spot on time helps hold the glue to the bands dynamic musical arrangements.
