Bio
Based out of Phoenix, Arizona, these southwest punk rockers bring together their catchy melodies and witty lyrics to provide entertaining and high-energy performances. The musical saga of Westcott Avenue began when Brett Schnebelt(bass, vocals) and Justin Robertson(guitar) began playing music in their garage. It started out for fun, but after writing a few songs, Brett showed Justin his musical ideas, and soon their musical antics turned into performances at bars and venues. Their sound wasn't quite complete until Robert Anders(drums), a family friend joined. Two years later, Nick Snodgrass(guitar) formed the quartet by jumping onto the band. With a full pop punk sound, this musical quartet began writing new material and touring throughout the Grand Canyon State, from Flagstaff to Tucson, building a fan base.
Westcott has performed in several music festivals, such as the Tempe Music Festivals of 2007 and 2008, The Van's Warped Tour of 2008 and 2009, and the Fall Frenzy of 2009, featured along with bands such as Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, Anberlin, and local heroes Authority Zero, as well as hundreds of other local bands.
