Bio
Based out of Austin, Westerly Station explores Roots-Rock and Pop through a contemporary lens. Members of the ensemble have been friends and jamming partners for several years, but decided to begin writing and performing consistently in late 2018.
The band is known for its soaring two-part harmonies sung by the husband/wife duo Brandon Semler and Jackie Goff, as well as songs that dabble in Americana, Garage Rock, Blues, Rockabilly and more. Jon Gonzalez provides at-times subtle and at-times booming percussion, and John Hoitt Barrett IV handles the bass duties.
Westerly Station released their debut single "The Philanthropist" in April, a hopeful, upbeat tune inspired by the woes of the present, and dreams for the future. Their follow-up single "Golden Days," is a pure rootsy rocker about a relationship that is magnetic, yet doomed.
The band is currently booking performances, and can be reached at westerlystationband@gmail.com
