Winner and finalists of numerous Battle of the Band contests, as well as the first band to play the new Amway Center in Orlando during its opening, Western Ninja's music has a wide appeal and can be paired up with many bands from various genres.

Biography

In a word, Western Ninja is "fun". Their songs are fun to listen to, and even more fun to dance to. With influences ranging from classic rock (The Cars, Led Zeppelin), to early punk (The Ramones), to alternative (The Cure, Queens of the Stone Age, The Raconteurs).
Formed in October 2008, Western Ninja has played the circuit around Downtown Orlando, as well as various other venues in the Central Florida area. Western Ninja currently consists of brothers John Gavin (lead vocals) and James Gavin (guitar/vocals), along with Dave Beyer (guitar/vocals), Brian Montes (bass) and Travis Werner (drums). The musicians have played together in other bands throughout the years (Runnin' Blind, Future Minority, Skin Up Pin Up, Desperate Living and Beautiful Rain). Western Ninja will be releasing their first full-length album, entitled "See You In Hell" in early 2011.
