Western WALK

In the fall of 2010, I started working towards a bachelors degree in Environmental Studies while trying to specialize in Urban Planning at York University. I had spent the summer listening to records by likes of Washed Out, Neon Indian, Toro Y Moi, and Small Black. During one of the semesters, I had spent months at my brothers apartment writing songs and producing songs in a bedroom, I missed a lot of school during that time because i was so hard at work mastering the craft. All I had was a laptop and a monitoring headphone. After four months i bought a small synthesizer and a midi keyboard, soon after i produced my first couple songs and shared it with close friends. Since that time i gained a small reputation with blogs, after releasing my first EP, Los Doomsday, but the the favor really came after i released 'Channel Twenty' a single off my soon to be released EP with Young Latitudes Records. To be Honest, Ernest Greene really inspired me to to follow my dreams with the little resources I had. I'm sure he wasn't the first to do it, but the kind of songs I always planned on making were the ones he was making.
