The road to West Finley is an interesting journey. Let's start at the beginning.
It all started with three people. A brother. A sister. A friend. When lead singer Barry Cline started writing songs, the idea of forming a band took off. It was then when he, his sister, O'linda, and Josh Berka started playing together. In 2003 guitarist Eric Woods joined the group and brought his influence to the collective sound of Crusoe's Friday, which was the band's name at the time. As the group matured mentally and musically, their sound began to change. It was then that pianist Daniel McMillen, percussionist, Jordan Cline, and drummer Clint Curry joined the group to make it what it is today. With the new members and the changing and maturing sound came the new name, West Finley. Soaring, intelligent melodies combined with well placed guitar work, ingenuitive keyboard sounds, and contemplative lyrics make West Finley a must listen.
