Bio

Westhaven is a band of young extremely talented and driven musicians with the focus and vision of seasoned artists. Their classic vibe breaks down the barriers of genres and ages. Take a little blues, a big helping of classic rock n’ roll, a dash of country, and put a modern spin on it, you have the Westhaven sound. Inspired by some of the greatest music from the past to now they really take a little from the the rock ‘n roll history books and make a sound all their own. Taking its listeners on a musical journey filled with passionate lyrics that tell a story, Westhaven is creating modern classic rock. With such infectious hooks, addictive and inspired lyrics it is amazing that all the members of Westhaven are still in their teens.

Growing up in Trinity, North Carolina frontman and guitarist Dimitrios Turnas, drummer Pete Turnas, and rhythm guitarist Brennan Biggs were exposed to a wide range of musical styles. To complete their sound, they brought in Las Vegas bassist Logan X. Niskey. What makes the members of Westhaven so awesome, is that they are all self-taught musicians who put their heart and soul into perfecting their craft. Dimitrios started writing songs at just 16 with a mature voice well beyond his years.

Fresh out of the studio, Westhaven is gearing up to release their indie label debut, THE PERFECT ONE (IS ME), via LEGA Records. It's hard to believe that such a young artist was able to write lyrics mature enough to capture such grown-up emotions. The album is full of instant hits that are radio friendly and so catchy that once you hear them you can not get them out of your head. The songs speak to so many because they express emotions that are truly universal.
