Westview

Westview began as a no-name casual jam group, in a family home, on a street named Westview Road. After playing for countless hours as a group in our garage, we decided to take our music to the next level.

In 2020—when the house we grew up playing in was sold—we did not want all those years of playing music together to end. That year, we started meeting up in music studios across the NYC Metro Area to fine tune our sound and get ready to play shows on stage.

Although the events of 2020 were a major setback for the live music scene, we still managed to reach our goal of booking and playing shows during this time.

The band

Our members consist of two brothers – Stephen Eichler (Keyboard/Vocals) and Ryan Eichler (Guitar/Vocals), a childhood friend – Jared Wolf (Bassist), and a new friend – Chris Caulfield (Drummer)—who we recently met along our journey.

Westview prides itself on creating music with no style barriers.

We prefer not to label our music because to us, that limits our sound. We draw on a vast array of genres ranging from Blues to Metal, from Grunge to Jazz, from Rock n’ Roll to Reggae—we’re enthralled and inspired by it all. We choose to let our audience label our music if they please. If the music is pleasant to our ears and enjoyable to our audience, any label is fine by us.

In 2020, we began as a cover band. Now in 2021, we are in the process of composing original music with our first EP to be released this year. We are booking gigs throughout the NYC-NJ-PA area at venues like Bowery Electric, The Delancey, Doylestown Arts Festival, and Crossroads.
