We Who Know brings back the golden age of art rock and throws it in a modern frame.
Formed in Los Angeles by vocalist Evan El Dorado along with guitarist Vreny Van Elslande and pianist Alex Tang, We Who Know is currently working with Grammy-nominated producer Brian D. Hardin on their debut EP, Book of Secrets, which will be completed in late 2011.
The unique sound of We Who Know is owed to its diverse set of influences which include the grandiose rock opera of Queen, David Bowie, and Pink Floyd fused with the gothic post-punk styles of Depeche Mode and The Cure.
"I usually aim to tell emotional stories with a bit of an arc" states We Who Know's vocalist and scribe Evan El Dorado, "I like to keep things musically as unpredictable and cinematic as possible while trying to maintain some semblance of cohesion. I consider myself a mad scientist and enjoy the rebellious aspect of forcing genres and paradigms together that are not supposed to fit."
