"Wezdum Fyah on the rise"

Roots rocking reggae musician Wezdum Fyah is making his way onto the music scene with a new track titled ' Life Journey' on the black pearl riddim set to be released before the year is out.
While growing up wezdum drew his inspiration from nature, and eventually realized that he have a unique voice.
Empowered by his friends and family he began to develop a genuine love for reggae music.

"Wezfum fyah"


Manchester, a farming parish in central Jamaica, has an history of producing great musicians and artists including Garnet Silk, Luciano and guitarist Ernie Ranglin.

Singer Wezdum Fyah is some way from that acclaim, but is keen to carry on his parish's rich tradition of artistic excellence.

"Too Much Bills", his first released song, came out in January. Produced by Lion Cubb Production and distributed by Zojak World Wide, it salutes hardworking mothers.

"This song mi put mi heart an' soul into it because it have some history behind it," said Wezdum Fyah.

The youngest of six children, he recalls seeing his mother nurture him and his siblings along with their father, a fireman.

He has recorded songs for producers in Jamaica and Canada, but they were not released. For the past seven years, Wezdum Fyah has been lead singer for the Step by Step band which has backed major acts such as Cocoa Tea, Turbulence and Warrior King.

"Too Much Bills" is the debut release for the Lion Cubb Production, which is also from Manchester. It is done on Di Reminisce 'riddim'.

Jamaican Based Reggae Artist /Performer Wezdum Fyah is best known for his fiery energetic live performances, with sweet melodies and big choruses. His music draws influence from artists like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Burning Spear, Garnet Silk, Buju Banton, and Sizzla Kalonji. Wezdum's hard work and collaboration with the Step by Step band has propelled him to perform alongside some great artists and Musicians such as Warrior King, Jah Mason, Lutan Fyah, Turbulance, and the Uprising Roots Band.

His most recent singles "Too much bills" on the Di Reminisce Riddim Produced by Lioncubb Production is now released early January 2021 and is already receiving support from fans and fellow musicians.

In a world driven by over-sexualized schemes, diseases, drugs, racisms, and injustice Wezdum has always been a role model for youths, always singing about the need for Education, self-reliance, upliftment, and self love every time he put foot on a stage.

Conscious, fiery, energetic Roots Rocking Reggae Performer Wezdum Fyah is inspired by Reggae Music and Rastafarian principles is what motivates him to become a performer and musician.

Born Richard Wisdom on October 16 in Mandeville Manchester Jamaica. He began his musical career in early 2000 Professionally, after years of practicing on numerous sound systems, and educating himself about the music industry he was then introduced to the step by step band where he made a name for himself as a performing artist.

He did his first single " Never get I down Produced by Haile life with love production based in Canada. Touring around the island of Jamaica with the band and performing with other established artists and musicians helped to carved and molded wezdum into a brilliant and passionate performer

He is featured on several platforms namely; Bess FM Jamaican radio lives on the step by step band birthday bash at Bonito Heights, Manchester in 2015.

The Ministry of youth and culture roadshow #iamconnected with Minister Lisa Hanna at the Alligator Pond Square, St Elizabeth in 2016.

The Black History Month celebration is hosted by the Manchester parish library. in 2017.

The Unity Splash concert at Central Village, Spanish Town in 2017.

The Health and awareness festival (eat to live and not to die) at the Cecile Chalton Park Mandeville in 2018.

The Roots FM Jamaican radio Rootsology segment with Denise Isis Miller in 2020 and the One love music festival in New Jersey on August 29, 2020.

Wezdum Fyah is now networking, promoting the 'Wezdum Fyah Brand' and also getting ready to Promote his newest single "Too Much Bills" on DiĀ  Reminisce Riddim Produced by the Lioncubb Production.

The Artist will be releasing the music video for his anthem song " Too Much Bills" soon. The music video is a tribute to his fans on their struggles on life's journey.

In a joint effort and partnership with the 48 Hours Record Label based in New York, the team is working harder to release the long-awaited 'life Journey Album ' soon to be released in early 2022. Wezdum Fyah continues to appear at concerts and live gigs across the globe and seeks to empower and uplift.
