Bio
"what happened saturday" originated in 2005 as the Carey Pearsall Band, featuring priest-to-be Carey Pearsall. The band regularly played Herman's Hideaway, opening for the Flobots and headlining weekend shows. Their ascent to fame culminated in a opening spot at Red Rocks for Ryan Adams and Lucinda Williams. Soon after, Carey Pearsall turned in his torn jeans and acoustic guitar for a frock and rosary beads, enrolling at the John Paul II Center to study for the priesthood.
The band re-formed as "what happened saturday", which was the the enigmatic name of their first CD (http://goo.gl/uaCdY) and added band members Josh Forke on bass, Justin Wedul on rhythm guitar and vocals and Alex Hoover on lead guitar.
The WHS Band performs a mixture of original songs and danceable cover tunes.
They like their hamburgers medium-rare and their sunsets golden.
