When It All Ends

 Gurnee, Illinois, USA
BandRockMetal

There's too much emphasis placed on defining a band by genre. When It All Ends wants you to listen to their music because you like what you hear.

Biography

The story of how When it all ends came to be is a story of heart break, war, magic, and perfect timing. The story starts with Sean and Tee Jay talking one brisk fall evening around the campfire. They had discussed the thought of starting a band in the past but now thought that the timing couldn’t be more perfect. With that the wheels were in motion for the creation of the greatest band that had ever walked through the picturesque wilderness that Gurnee, Illinois could provide. The original line up of the band was to be Tee Jay on guitar and vocals, Sean on drums, Angelica on Bass, and Brian on guitar. But due to heavy amounts of magical soda and serious sleep depression the line up soon became Tee Jay on vocals, Sean on drums, Wes on guitar, Angelica on Bass and last but not least Eric also on guitar. This lineup was pure perfection and gets better every day.
Tee Jay a former Marine has never had any experience doing just vocals but has come across as being an amazing singer with a growl that makes small children cry and the elderly defecate themselves. Plus with his experiences he is an untapped keg if you will of lyrical poetry which defines every new song that he writes. In the previous years, Sean has been part of some amazing bands. These bands include, Cry For Dawn, Vertical, Bottom Line and Dadulous. Sean has been playing drums for over 10 years and has never gave up on the dream. Dadulous featured Eric and Sean. Eric started playing guitar about ten years ago and seems to get better and better every time he picks up the guitar. He has skills that are unmatched and that make other guitarists jealous. Angelica was introduced to the band through an old job that Wes and Sean had with Angelica. Angelica has had musical background in grammar and high school but never any experience playing the bass. As she decided she would like to play for When It All Ends, she picked that bass up and never let go. A born natural. It’s amazing seeing a lady with such a small stature wield such a massive instrument of pure sonic distruction. While Sean was in Cry For Dawn, Wes had auditioned for an open guitar position with the band dispite it was not a style of music that Wes was accustomed to. Wes has played with numerous bands as well some of these bands include: The Midgets and Contents Unknown just you’re atypical punk bands fast power chords and ugly solos. So as When It All Ends searched for another guitar player, Sean suggested Wes and it has been the best decision. When It All Ends has a very unique sound and interestingly enough it is quite hard to peg them with a particular genre. The greatest thing about this band is that they always keep the fans guessing. If it’s not a hard metal song, then it’s a rock song or the genre changes. The band is defined by what the fans will react to the most. The fans are the number one most important part because if there are no fans, there is no band.
