Whirling Dervish produces a performance filled with fresh originals and arrangements, funky beats, hypnotic rhythms and haunting melodies that will grab the audiences' attention and never let up. A new group to Salt Lake City comprised of some of the best musicians Salt Lake has to offer along with some of the most innovative original jazz around.
With Whirling Dervish, I (Jehiah Bray) have played at Sugarhouse Coffee to a packed crowd. Before forming this band I have played with other groups I've lead in Las Vegas in venues such as The Blue Note Cafe, Tao (in the Venitian), Tabu (in the MGM), Sedona, the Belagio Ballroom, The Redroom, The Aruba and recently took the Venitian grand ballroom stage along with Fergie and Coolio for New Years Eve 2008.
