Bio
In the decade and a half since legendary delta bluesman David Honeyboy Edwards bestowed his colorful blues moniker upon him, Whiskey Bob Taylor has been on a mission to blend the raw sound of the early blues with a contemporary conscience.
In addition to his own solo performances, Whiskey Bob can often be seen around Chicago sharing the stage with blues greats like Buddy Guy, Eddy "The Chief" Clearwater, Honeyboy Edwards, former Koko Taylor harpist Harmonica Hinds, Lousiana Red, former Muddy Waters sideman John Primer, harmonica virtuoso Sugar Blue, and the late Dave Myers of the legendary Chess Records house band The Four Aces.
