Bio

Whiskey Project is a new alternative/alt-country band comprised of four long time friends that consider themselves brethren. Whiskey Project's mission is to stay as true to the core of their wide range of influences, everything from rock, blues, country and pop. The concept is Americana at its core, but don't try to compare it to the stuff labelled Americana in the local music store. What you get here, might be a tad bit more edgy, more unique, more inclusive of styles that most in the genre would outlaw. This may just make them a little bit punk in spirit, to get the mix right.

Why call it Whiskey Project? Because what these four friends do with music isn't too far off from how moonshiners perform their craft. The bootlegger spirit has helped to mold the American culture and heritage. That same spirit exists in Whiskey Project's music.

**Whiskey Project will be releasing its new EP, Everybody's Bottle in March of 2014.  It will feature an album style concept, where the first three songs blend as parts of stylistic unit on Side A, and the last two songs will be act as the B Sides.  It's an exciting project for them as they sought out hand selected engineers and artists to work with to create a "Made In Nebraska" themed product.
