Bio
The Whiskey Reverb was formed in September of 2009 with members from various Buffalo bands upon the premise of making music while enjoying each others abilities and company. With each member coming from vastly different genre backgrounds, Whiskey Reverb has worked hard to be respectful to all genres while pushing those genres beyond the norm.
The evolution of the group continues to be a magical experience. With well-crafted songs and a killer live show, the band has garnered an exceptional following in Western New York and beyond into the Northeast and Midwest. Whiskey Reverb has also amassed a multitude of accolades and awards including: Artvoice Magazine and Buffalo Music Awards for Best Original Band; Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls USA- Hard Rock Rising Regional winners in 2012 and 2013.
Whiskey Reverb has also independently released three full-length studio albums. In 2010, the band released their debut album, "Proverbs Bi-Polar & The Body Electric", which has sold over 1,500 copies. The album received great reviews from The Buffalo News and Niagara Gazette, as well as being nominated for Album of the Year at WBNYs College Music Awards. The bands next release, "Soul Fire Vol. I (2012)", has had success with exposure coming from the track "Foxes" being featured in an independent film, and the track "Shwag" winning an AMMA award for 2012 Song of The Year. The bands latest release, "Future Sight (2013)" has seen its first single "Jealousy", receive rotation on college radio across the region, resulting in the video gathering over 60,000 views on youtube.
Whiskey Reverb also has extensive touring experience, performing on average 125 shows per year all over the country and has graced the stage with such acts as Finger Eleven, DMX, EOTO, Tracy Bonham, Badfish, Gangstagrass, That One Guy, The Guess Who, and Puddle of Mudd.
