"Whiskey Train Performance"

"Whiskey Train has a great energy and passion in their live show. Melodic songs with strong vocals. The band brought a large crowd and was a pleasure to work with, I would book them again."

"Whiskey Train Performs in Ardmore,PA"

"…This 5 Piece band had a cool vibe to them. 3 guitars include a folk guitar that blended well with a talented keyboard and harp player. Their riffs were old school, kinda like Skynard, meets Queen meets Elton John. Closer to the gun was their sound, a very radio friendly rock that fused a Matchbox 20 and Dave Matthews Band. My favorite is harmonizing...4 vocalists sounding like one voice. I really dug this band from their catchy tunes to their driven guitars to their diversified keyboards. Little thing like one lead vocalists playing the drums with his hand while the drummer was playing and the song was going on. Overall, I really dug this band." - Ardmore, PA Local Radio and Rock Venue Review - Local Radio and Rock Venue- Ardmore, PA

"Jaxon from WMMR"

"I like this band, like them so much we put em on local shots volume 5. If you have not heard of them yet I think you'll like em as well. Get out and see em live too, they put on a hell of a live show. Always a pleasure to have them play..." from Jaxon's Local Shots Podcast on March 12, 2009 - Jaxon's Podcast

"Review of Song from TAXI A&R"

"... the energy and the confident, strong performances on the vocals and from all the musicians involved make this song a pleasant boost to my day... the chorus is catchy and the harmonies and overall tone of the vocals are very engaging and attractive. I enjoyed the upbeat vibe..." - Review of "It's Alright"

Bio

Whiskey Train is a group of five friends with a passion for great music and good times. This is the music that can provide the escape and release we need to cast worries aside and have some fun.

Whiskey Train presents Kenny Curcio on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Johnny DeAngelis on piano and vocals, Dom Grosso on lead guitar and twin brothers Brett (Flash) and Bart Riley round out the bands lineup on bass and drums respectively. Their sound is a blend of rock, country and blues with a touch of reggae added in to create a warm tone perfect for the summer, or the wish of summer. They have been compared to O.A.R., Sublime, Dave Matthews Band, and a modern Allman Brothers Band.

Their first EP, Keep On Walking, was released Jan 2008. They had two songs "It's Alright" and "When I Went Away" that received airplay in the Philadelphia market. Thanks to global distribution (including iTunes and Amazon.com) they sold over twelve hundred copies around the country and parts of Europe and Asia in the first year alone. Their new album, Open Up Your Mind, is due for release May 8th. The album was produced by Whiskey Train, recorded and mixed by long time friend Wayne Shannon (the Element) and edited by Wayne Davis (Breaking Benjamin, Antigone Rising). A year in the making, Open Up Your Mind contains ten new tracks by the band making it their first full length album.

Being part of a Whiskey Train audience is an experience of pure jubilation. Whether it's the upbeat country dance tune, "No Reason", the intriguing "Open up your Mind", or rocking "Ride Slow", their songs linger in your head and you'll find yourself singing these songs to brighten your day. Whiskey Train's music reflects a philosophy of enjoying the moment and making a difference... When you have a Whiskey Train experience, you'll never forget it.
